When It comes to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, King Kong has nothing  on Caesar. We were first  introduced to Cesar in the Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Rise we see  how Caesar grows, from a  tragic birth losing his mother to being raised by one of the scientist and his rise to power as he becomes the wise, smart and strong leader of the apes. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes picks up where we see the human population dwindle to mere 100’s of people in the San Francisco area,  from a massive Simian Flu outbreak. While Humans are struggling to survive, we see Caesar and his “family” of Apes thriving.

dawn.....Apes (2)

Caesar and his family, which includes his wife and two children, are enjoying the world with out humans, until some show up who are desperately in need of electricity and fuel.  And the Apes are the one thing keeping them from that. As the movie goes on we see a Caesar who shows his sympathy and understanding towards the humans. We also see his strength and his great ability to think before he acts which causes conflict with a few of his fellow apes. We also see a strong sense of family with not just the apes but the humans as well. I think this movies is a great film with awesome effects. I think it’s cool to see apes riding on horses with machine guns, but not in real life though. If I had a star system I would give it 4 stars. I will be going to see it again.

So Tell me what you think of the movie.
