“Guardians of the Galaxy” Review

Directed by: James Gunn
Written by: James Gunn and Nicole Perlman
Starring: Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista

When it comes to The Guardians of the Galaxy, I must say I liked it far better than the Avengers movie. Guardians of the Galaxy follows Peter Quill( played by Chris Pratt) a pilot who finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan. When “Star lord” retrieves the orb we see how this one thing brings our guardians together. Quill( Pratt) teams up with Gamora( played by Zoe Saldana) a assassin, Groot( played by Vin Diesel) a walking tree, Drex( played by Dave Bautista) a prisoner with a chip on his shoulder, and the hilarious Rocket( played by Bradley Cooper) a walking , talking, gun toting raccoon.

I found it very interesting that even though they dealt with very serious issues, there were many funny parts of the movie, and rocket brings most of the funny.

I love the relationship between Rocket and Groot and how Rocket is the only one who understands him even though he says the same thing over and over.
FINAL THOUGHTS: I think this is a great movie overall, it has handsome men, a walking tree, a funny raccoon, we get to see how prison is in space, kick ass women and great music. This movie is PG-13 I would not recommend for children under 13.
I give this movie: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ
