“Gone Girl” do your thang!!!!!!! Movie review!!!!!

Gone Girl, what could I say to sum up this movie…… Oh here’s two ” Fucked Up.” Gone girl is based on the Best Selling book by Gillian Flynn. The book follows Nick and Amy Dunne, a married couple as they embark on their fifth anniversary, but on the morning of their anniversary she disappears. We see all the gritty truth and some made up stories as Amy takes us back as she writes in her diary about meeting Nick, their marriage, and how it fell apart. It cuts between the good times in the past and and misery of today going into year five.

Ben Affleck who plays Nick Dunne gets himself into some awkward situations while his wife is missing like smiling next to his wife’s missing poster and taking selfies with random women. But it’s Rosamund that steals the show playing Amy. While reading this book I pictured Amy a certain way and Rosamund did not disappoint. She was intriguing, deceptive , she knows her power, and opposite of weak , I wouldn’t dare cross her. The casting was great, plot was good, but it seems like some of the parts of the movie could have been cut out for time sake. This movie was 2 and half hours long and it’s that long because I feel they took a lot of details from the book that could’ve been left off.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall, I liked this movie. Having read the book I already knew what happens in the end and once again what happens is very “fucked up”
I give this movie: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Tell me what you thought of the movie!!!!!!!
